Pomball: Framed hat pattern for knitters from Imagined Landscapes Designs

This one is a stunner if I do say so myself. Pomball: Framed has twisted-stitch cables framing wider cables in this delicate fingering-weight hat. Quite slouchy, with a small pomball featuring sculptural single-stitch cables. It’s a wonderful light-weight hat that’s perfect for cool days.

The yarn isn’t easy to capture in terms of colour. This is Malabrigo Mechita in Teal Feather and it’s a wonderful green-blue with a temperament that seems to change in every light. We just couldn’t stop photographing this one!

I shot another wee video for Instagram that I’ll be putting up later today. The wind was howling today, that ‘sharp like a knife’ March wind we get. So my hands were super stiff. My ears were warm, though. Do you follow me? Here’s a link to my account if you don’t.
