Knitalongs are loads of fun. They provide a community of purpose around some kind of project, and the chatter, targets, and general sense that we’re all in this together add up to inspiration. Often a KAL is pattern-specific. My favourite kinds of KALs are the big-tent ones, though. The ones where everyone can work on their projects of choice but have all the chatter and fun of community. Like the Splash Pad Party.
