Gnome For The Holidays knitalong

This is an optional themed month for the Year of Gnomes fun.

⭐️NOTE: you can knit as many as you want, but you only get one post in the prize entry thread. Same as all Year of Gnomes months. 

Prizes for the Year of Gnomes are drawn quarterly. The July gnomes will be part of the pool for the prizes announced in early September.

I'll be seeing if I can knit an advent calendar's worth (or two, actually! yikes) of Gnaomi from Gno Fun Like Gnome Fun. That's 25 (or 50 if I'm being honest). Gnaomi is great for this sort of project - she's simple and fast. No arms, and the beard and nose are knit as one piece so you're only attaching the beard to the body.

I've done this before, but now that my kids are moving out on their own, I'd like to make a set for each of them.

For my original set, I used a limited palette of DK and fingering weight yarns and modified them and played with things. Read more about it.

For these two sets, I'll be using fingering weight and modifying Gnaomi to be even smaller than in the pattern. For my yarns, how I'm doing this, and near-daily check-ins, check out the Ravelry thread!
