Gnimble is a reporter for the local newspaper, “Gnome News is Good News”. (And can’t we just agree that it is a marvellous fact that gnome news really is good news?) He enjoys talking to local sources (although gnomes call them friends), finding out the latest scoops (like “Little Gnipper eats triple-scoop pumpkin cream cone!”), and writing articles.
The BIG NEWS
Gnome News is Good News is a pattern that features self-striping yarn! That’s right, I’ve put my thinking cap on and come up with a design that plays with stripes. Because of the way he’s worked, variegated yarn will also work! You’ll also need an accent yarn and a beard/nose/hands type yarn.
Want more help with yarn? (Of course you do!)
The preKnitalong information PDF that is available right now when you buy Gnome News Is Good News has colour advice.
Use code “GoodNews25” to get 25% off the pattern until April 18!

Yarn
If you’re shopping for minis, you’ll need three 20g minis of fingering weight yarn. You’ll want:
-
- 20g self-striping or variegated
- 20g solid or semi-solid yarn, possibly subtly speckled but keep this calm so your self-striping can strut its stuff
- 20g for hand/beard/nose-type uses.
