Happy Thanksgiving!

I’m grateful that a year that began with such difficulties and burnout is flourishing with creativity, community, and laughter.

I’m thankful for the people that hug me.  It’s a small group, but it encompasses all of the very most important people.  They support me and inspire me.

I’m thankful for autumn’s glories.  It’s hard to be dour during October.

I’m thankful for the way that planning Christmas secrets gives the entire end of the year a spicy flavour.

I’m thankful for knitting.  How can something combine both glorious meditative rhythm with fantastic creativity?
