When somebody decides to make my pattern.
What makes you excited about being a designer?
I can get paid by doing something that I like.
What part of the process do you find rewarding?
Seeing my idea materialized into something beautiful.
What inspires you?
I am inspired by many things. Scenery, movie, books.
Are you a full-time or part-time designer?
I am a part-time designer.
Does the place you live affect how or what you design?
Not sure, since I live in the same place since I started designing.
What’s your favourite thing to design?
Shawls
Are you a big gift knitter?
No, I am a selfish knitter. My heart and soul went into my knitting, so the only people that get my knitting is my girls who really love and appreciate my knitting.
Tell us about your favourite yarn.
I love fingering weight yarn with natural fibers such as wool, cashmere and silk.
What’s one thing about being a designer that surprised you?
Whenever I design something, I always feel that my design is not good enough. So, it is always surprises me when people bought and love my designs.
