I had so much fun designing her, and there are such fun details. The little square corners on her bottom mean that she has little pointed feet peeking out. The beard is like tangled angel-hair pasta. The mushroom motif! Make Gnome Mistake, she’s a big hit around here!
I can’t say enough about the trick of knitting inside out when working stranded colourwork! There’s an included link in the pattern, but here it is right here. The knitting inside-out section starts around minute 14.
