Pomball: Zig - a bold and playful hat pattern for knitters from Imagined Landscapes

Pomball: Zig was the first of this collection that I knit and, between the simple, easy colourwork and the delight I felt as I played with the idea of the matching pomball, I think it almost knit itself! The testers just snapped this one up and reported having a lot of fun with it, too.

Pomball: Zig is knit in 2 colours of worsted weight yarn and has a really playful energy to it. It’s a great first colourwork project, if you’re new to this addictive technique. Starting on Friday March 11, I’ll be posting a series of updates and tutorials as I knit another version of Zig, so if you want to work along with me we can do an informal KAL. Come on over to the Ravelry group and post your progress pictures, too.
